Dr. David Krese earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from West Virginia University School of Dentistry in 1988. After graduating, he completed his post graduate periodontal residency at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry.
Dr. Krese has published an article in the JADA and continues to remain active in continuing education. He is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP), Southern Academy of Periodontology (SAP), Virginia Dental Association (VDA), Shenandoah Valley Dental Society (SVDS) and Charlottesville Albemarle Dental Society (CADS) for which he was president in 2013.
With over 27 years of experience, Dr. Krese continues to establish long lasting relationships with his patients while providing them with exceptional periodontal care.
Dr. Krese is an avid fly fisherman and white water enthusiast. Growing up in the backyard of the New River Gorge, he could often be found rock climbing, paddling a kayak, or white water rafting.
Besides being able to identify most flora and fauna of the mid-Atlantic region, he can repair just about anything. In his spare time, he enjoys gardening, fishing, and watching his children play sports.
Dr. Krese and his wife have lived in Charlottesville for 28 years and have 3 children.
